100VAC Lithium Charger refers to a power conversion device that uses 100 volt AC voltage as input power to charge lithium-ion batteries (Lithium-ion) or lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries. This type of charger is mainly used in countries and regions that use 100V power grid standards, such as Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. It is also widely used in some small industrial, medical and portable equipment. It uses AC-DC conversion, constant voltage and constant current control, and intelligent management algorithms to efficiently and safely charge lithium batteries.


Compared with chargers with 110V and 220V inputs, 100VAC input products need to have higher voltage adaptation capabilities, power filtering capabilities, and stable compatibility designs with local power grid characteristics.


2. Features

1. Accurate input voltage matching (100VAC±10%)

Description: Designed for countries with an input voltage of 100V (such as Japan), it can adapt to AC power grids in the range of 90V~110V.


Professional parameters:


Input voltage range: 90VAC~110VAC


Input frequency: 50Hz/60Hz dual-frequency compatible


Power factor correction (PFC): > 0.95 (active PFC circuit)


Advantages: Ensure stable power supply and fast startup under local low-voltage power grid, and adapt to places with frequent voltage fluctuations.


2. Applicable to multiple types of lithium batteries (Li-ion/LiFePO₄/NMC)


Description: Supports a variety of lithium battery packs, and uses a dedicated algorithm to control the constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) stages.


Professional parameters:


Output voltage range: 12.6V/16.8V/29.4V/54.6V and other customized versions


Maximum output current: 1A~20A (depending on the model)


Charging efficiency: ≥ 92%


Advantages: Can be widely used in 3S, 4S, 7S, 13S battery packs, with a wide range of adaptation, and the charging curve accurately matches the battery characteristics to extend battery life.


3. Three-stage intelligent charging algorithm

Description: Adopts a three-stage intelligent charging strategy to automatically identify the battery status and switch stages.


Charging stage:


Pre-charge stage (Pre-charge): When the battery voltage is too low (<2.5V/cell), charge slowly at 0.1C to protect the battery cell.


Constant current stage (CC): Rapidly replenish power according to the set current until the voltage reaches the standard.


Constant voltage stage (CV): The current gradually decreases and the voltage maintains the set value to prevent overcharging.

Voltage accuracy error: ±0.3%


Current accuracy error: ±1%


Advantages: Fully compatible with the best charging logic of various lithium batteries, improve safety and prevent risks such as bulging and overheating.


4. Multiple safety protection mechanisms

Description: Integrated soft start, battery identification, overtemperature protection, short circuit protection and other functions.


Protection parameters:


Overvoltage protection point: Power off when >110% rated voltage


Overtemperature protection temperature: >75°C automatic power off


Output short circuit response time: <2ms


Input surge tolerance: 2kV (compliant with IEC61000-4-5)


Advantages: It can be quickly cut off when the power is frequently plugged in or a short circuit occurs, avoiding battery damage or fire.


5. Compact structure and optimized heat dissipation design

Description: High-frequency transformer, aluminum heat sink and forced air cooling or natural convection are used to ensure high-power operation of the equipment.


Professional parameters:


Size (typical): 160mm × 90mm × 50mm (15A model)


Heat dissipation method: natural air cooling (<5A) / forced air cooling (>5A)


Shell material: flame-retardant ABS / aluminum alloy / IP54 protection level (industrial type)


Advantages: Suitable for long-term working scenarios, keep the shell temperature below 60°C, and improve the comprehensive life of the charger and battery.


6. Comply with international safety and EMC standards

Description: Pass multi-national certification standards to ensure the compliance of products in different power grid environments.

EMS test compliance: IEC61000-4-2/3/4/5


Advantages: Can be exported to multiple countries for use, meeting multiple regulatory requirements such as electromagnetic interference suppression and material environmental protection.


III. Application scenarios

1. Power tool charging

Equipment such as electric drills, electric screwdrivers, gardening shears, etc. that use 10.8V~18V lithium batteries are widely used in home DIY or engineering maintenance;


100VAC input charger can be directly used in Japanese standard sockets, eliminating the transformer conversion step.


2. Medical equipment

Used for battery charging of portable medical suction pumps, infusion pumps, mobile monitors and other equipment;


Due to its high safety protection and stability, it is suitable for quiet charging occasions at night in hospitals.


3. Smart mobility devices


E.g. electric skateboards, electric wheelchairs, electric balance bikes, etc. use 36V or 48V lithium batteries;


Embedded in residential or commercial areas with 100VAC power supply areas, convenient for fast charging and energy replenishment.


4. Drones and model airplanes


High-rate lithium batteries are used in model airplanes, FPV drones, etc., which require precise voltage and current control;


Multi-port charging stations often use 100V input centralized power supply to simplify site wiring.
