Description
NOVA-20kW High-Power Intelligent Battery Charger
The Nova-20kW high-power intelligent battery charger is engineered for exceptional performance, versatility and long-term reliability to meet rigorous charging demands
across industrial and marine scenarios. Integrated with high-frequency power supply technology and sophisticated intelligent algorithms, it delivers outstanding power
density, operational efficiency and stable output for lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitor modules.
High-Efficiency & Adjustable Power Output:
Boasting a peak efficiency of over 94% under full load with 380Vac input, the charger cuts down energy waste and heat emission during operation. Its DC output voltage
ranges from 20V to 120V and output current from 2A to 200A, both fully adjustable via communication. The output ripple is controlled below 2%, ensuring steady power
delivery for sensitive energy storage devices. Rated at 20kW maximum output power, it supports rapid high-power charging for heavy-duty equipment.
Intelligent BMS Communication & Visualized Control:
This all-in-one charging solution features seamless CAN/RS485 communication to interact with mainstream BMS systems, enabling precise matching with lithium-ion
battery packs and supercapacitor modules. Equipped with a 4.3-inch touch screen, it provides real-time visualization of operating voltage, current and fault codes,
simplifying on-site monitoring, operation and fault diagnosis for operators. It also offers a 12V/5A peak BMS auxiliary power supply to sustain normal operation of
battery management systems.
All-Weather Durability & Robust Physical Design:
Built with a metal housing and finished with baking paint, the charger adopts forced air cooling and reaches an IP21 protection rating. It works reliably across an ultra-
wide temperature range from -20℃ to +65℃ (power derating above 45℃), adapting to harsh indoor and outdoor working environments. With compact dimensions
of 600x230x300mm and a weight of 26kg, it balances structural sturdiness and easy installation. Standard 3-meter cables with different wire gauges and optional
connectors including Anderson, REMA and charging guns further enhance application flexibility.
Wide-Range Input & Comprehensive Auto-Recovery Protection:
Designed for three-phase 380Vac AC input, it tolerates an input voltage of 260V to 520Vac and a frequency of 45Hz to 65Hz, with a maximum input current of 38A.
Fitted with an EN IEC 60309 63A three-phase plug, it connects to industrial power grids securely. A complete protection system covers over-voltage (OVP), under-
voltage (UVP), over-current (OCP), short-circuit (SCP), over-temperature (OTP) and communication failure protection. The unit can automatically recover from
abnormal states without manual intervention, maximizing equipment safety and reducing maintenance workload.
Universal Industrial & Marine Applications:
The Nova-20kW series serves as a premium high-power charging solution for multiple demanding fields. It is widely deployed on marine vessels to charge on-board
lithium battery systems. In industrial sites, it reliably powers electric forklifts, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and industrial robots, keeping production fleets
running continuously. Additionally, it is well-suited for large-scale supercapacitor module charging and other high-power energy storage equipment, delivering safe,
efficient and intelligent charging for diverse heavy-duty equipment.
